This policy explains what information MultiAgent Compare collects when you visit multiagentcompare.com, how it is used, and the choices you have. MultiAgent Compare is the operator of this site.
What data do we collect?
- Server logs: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as IP address, browser type, requested page, referring page and the date and time of the request. These logs are used to keep the site running, secure and free of abuse.
- Analytics: the site does not currently run third-party analytics or tracking scripts. If that changes, this policy and the Cookie Policy will be updated first.
- Contact form submissions: the contact form on the About page does not send data to our servers. It opens your own email program with your message prefilled. If you send that email, we receive your name, email address and message like any other email.
- Interactive tools: the stack quiz and coordination calculator run entirely in your browser. Your answers and inputs are not stored or sent anywhere.
How do we use cookies and analytics?
The site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Any cookies used are strictly necessary for delivering and securing the site. See the Cookie Policy for details.
What about third-party links?
Pages link to vendor websites, documentation and repositories. Some outbound links, including links to band.ai, carry referral parameters that tell the vendor the visit came from this site. Once you leave this site, the privacy policy of the destination site applies, and we are not responsible for its practices.
How long do we keep data?
Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations, typically no longer than our hosting provider's standard retention period. Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of corrections, then deleted.
What are your rights?
Depending on where you live, laws such as the EU and UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act may give you rights over your personal data. These can include the right to access, correct or delete data, to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to know what categories of data are collected. We do not sell or share personal data for advertising. To exercise any right, email us and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Is the site meant for children?
The site is written for software professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Will this policy change?
We may update this policy when the site or the law changes. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
